Very excited to see the Transurban NorthConnex Tunnel finally at its completion point! Many great memories were made over the past three years whilst building the 9.0km tunnel which links the M1 Pacific Highway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills.
JDK (JDK Geotech Pty Ltd)'s team members have been involved in the project since 2017 undertaking geological, geotechnical and project management services using the supervision of the Lendlease and Bouygues Construction Joint Venture (LLBJV). JDK's primary scope of works included deep piling, face/bench excavation mapping, trench inspections/permit to enter trenches, rock fall prevention and remediation, and the ongoing management of the final lining process.
